School fire forces evacuation

TALLINN - A fire at a school in the Estonian capital has led to the evacuation of 700 students and staff. Nobody was injured in the blaze.

The school, on Koorti street in the Lasnamäe district, began to fill with smoke at around 11:30 on Friday.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to the basement of the school and had put it out by 12:30.
