Eating at night with no harm to the figure

  • 2010-11-03

If it is not healthy to eat after 6 p.m., the following question arises - when are you supposed to eat then? Most normal people come home after work in the evening. And this is the time when they are the most hungry.
And “hungry” ... is actually an understatement. You could eat anything and the more the better.
And if for the first few hours after returning from work you can hold on somehow by occupying yourself with household chores, then by 10 p.m. your stomach makes its presence felt by “throwing concerts”, your will weakens, and the sausage in the fridge lures, and lures, and lures ... What should you do then?

From now on, self-torture is over! It turns out that one can eat at night without any harm to the figure. The main thing is to do it the right way. Of course, if you eat a pound of eclairs with condensed milk or potatoes with lard, you will have a bad sleep and you might grow some fat. But if you dine with “special” products, you can keep normal weight and even ... lose weight.

So, what foods can be eaten at night?

Sausages
The best for eating at night are chicken sausages. Ideally - boiled. And of course, the worst ones are fried fatty pork sausages. It is also better to abstain from smoked sausages. But a pair of low-fat chicken sausages is a great way to silence the night appetite.

Boiled vegetables
The first thing that comes to mind is a carrot or a beet. Boil them together in a pan, cut into pieces, rub on a grater, and mix them in a blender with an apple ... but it is tastier, of course, when they are simply cut in small cubes. Broccoli deserves to be mentioned here as well. Broccoli is a low-calorie vegetable - just 30 calories per 100 grams. In addition, this species of cauliflower is full of vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which certainly has a positive effect on the digestion of food consumed with it. Boiled potatoes should not be eaten at night.

Eggplant caviar
Yes, eggplant. Or pumpkin, or any other vegetable caviar.  And in unlimited quantities! But, it should be eaten only with a spoon, not with toast or bread.

Mushrooms
They can be eaten in small portions and without potatoes, better with vegetables. But be careful with canned mushrooms – it can be stressful for the liver.

Canned corn
Such corn can be eaten straight from the jar. But do not eat too much, the maximum is a few spoonfuls. Also you can fry it in olive oil. It is delicious.

Kefir, nonfat yogurt
You can try it already today late at night when you want to eat. Drink a glass of yogurt in one or two gulps. It should be tasty, fresh (not from yesterday) and not cold. Feeling as if the hunger was satisfied by a nutritious meat meal is guaranteed.

Grapefruit
It reduces the level of insulin in the blood, and this in turn reduces your desire to have a snack. If you suddenly have a wish to eat something, the hunger can be “tricked” by drinking a glass of fresh juice or eating one half of this fruit.

Sushi
It is one of the greatest inventions of mankind. Sushi must be fresh, so cook them yourself! You can also treat your relatives and make them happy, and at the same time you will also find something to do in the evening instead of eating.

Apart from all this diversity there are so-called “negative calorie foods.” In other words, these are products which require burning more energy in order to digest them, than they actually contain. For example, it is spinach and cabbage.
10% of calories consumed each day are spent on food processing in the body. Digesting the products with “negative” calories takes more calories than what those products give to the body. That means that they can be combined with something “heavier” and as a result - the supper will be more “light” and balanced.

It is important to remember one thing: the food with negative calories should be eaten in its natural state, if you cook it, adding butter and other ingredients, the caloric composition will change.
