Savisaar fined for undeclared loan

TALLINN -  Tallinn city mayor Edgar Savisaar has been fined 9,000 kroons for failing to declare a 2.7 million kroon loan.

Savisaar reportedly took the loan from Liechtenstein businessman Peter Kaiser.

The mayor pointed out that this was his first misdemeanor.
