VILNIUS -- Lithuanian gas company Lietuvos Dujos has once again publicly attacked plans to reform the country's gas industry to bring it in line with EU demands.

Lithuania is required by the gas directive to un-bundle its gas supply and network operations, and the country's government has opted for the most extreme possible application of the law.

The compnay published an open letter, signed by representatives of controlling companies Gazprom and E.ON Ruhrgas, saying the bill would breach the country's investment protection obligations.
