Police spokespeople said the people had mostly come from Iraq and Afghanistan and that the trafficking took place in 2008-2009, Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported.

They believe the crime ring may be based in Moscow and that the people were smuggled into Finland through Lithuania, Latvia and Russia.
