TALLINN -- Three British warships sunk by the Germans in WWI have been found off the Estonian island of Saaremaa.
The damaged HMS Cassandra, HMS Gentian and HMS Myrtle were found about 90 miles south-west of Tallinn. They were part of a British squadron sent to the Baltic in 1918-19 to deliver arms to Estonia.
The first ship reportedly sunk in the winter of 1918, the second two in the summer of 1919.
