The economic downturn has struck severely all business in Lithuania, though the area of sporting goods has shown much tenacity, reporting a relatively small drop in business overall. This could be attributed to the consumers’ adaptation to the lingering downturn - not being able to choose an expensive recreational pursuit, they embark on less money-spending activities.
