Construction company pulls out of radio tower

TALLINN - Renovative construction work on Tallinn's TV tower stopped abruptly last week after the construction company demanded their contract be annulled.

The 90 million krooni (€5.6 million) renovations would have brought the VT tower, built in the '70s, in line with modern safety regulations.

The KMG Ehitus construction company, which won the public tender competition for the job has already demolished the tower entrance, the pool and some other structures.
