Presidential advisor resigns

VILNIUS - One of the top advisors of Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, Audrone Nugaraite, has announced that she will be leaving the office as of July 19.

Nugaraite, who headed the Policy Analysis and Institutional Relations Group, said she does not know who will succeed her to the post.

Nugaraite is a professor at Vilnius University. Before joining the president’s team, she was a lecturer at the Journalism Institute.
