VILNIUS - A recent survey has found that well over half of the Lithuanian population believes scientists could be considered "dangerous" because of their knowledge.

Just 8 percent of survey participants said they would trust scientists to tell the truth.

Oddly, just 20 percent of participants in the same Eurobarometer study said the public should be consulted on decisions surrounding science and technology.
