RIGA - Gazoprom has officially opened a representative office in Riga amid great fanfare, pledging deepened future cooperation with the Baltic States. .
Valery Golubev, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Artis Kampars, Latvian Minister of Economics and Alexander Veshnyakov, Russian Ambassador to Latvia, all attended the ceremony to mark the event.
“Strengthening long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation with the Baltic states is one of Gazprom’s strategic objectives," Golubev said.
