VILNIUS - Arūnas Gelūnas has officially taken over the Lithuanian culture ministry after months of speculation and horse-trading over the portfolio.
In April, the National Resurrection Party, led by Arūnas Valinskas, announced their lack of confidence in the previous minister, Remigijus Vilkaitis.
Gelūnas was the third candidate to be proposed to the minister’s position.
