JURMALA - Latvian national airline airBaltic has launched the Baltic States' first self service bike rental company in the seaside resort town of Jurmala.

"Every decent European city has bike rental stands. Now residents and guests of Jurmala will also have a chance to use rental bikes for journeys around the city,” said Bertolt Flick, airBaltic President and CEO.

BalticBike has been launched in cooperation with www.nextbike.de – an experienced provider of public bike rental systems in Germany, Austria and New Zealand, an airBaltic press release said.
