E-PINE meets in Riga

RIGA - Representatives of the "e-pine" (Enhanced Partnership in Northern Europe) have met in Riga to discuss recent developments in Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and South Caucasus countries.

The Latvian ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that those participating at the meeting are the Foreign Ministry Political Directors from Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, and the U.S.

The e-PINE partnership was launched in 2003 as a continuation of the U.S.-Baltic Partnership Charter a broader scale, with the aim of enhancing the mechanism of mutual consultations among the U.S., and the Baltic and Nordic countries.
