RIGA - Opposition lawmakers have filed for a vote of no-confidence in Economy Minister Artis Kampars. The vote has been scheduled for June 10.

The document was submitted by Harmony Center, People's Party and Latvia's First Party/Latvia's Way parliament members.

The parliamentarians complained of the slow economic growth in the country and Kampars' inability to rein in unemployment, which has been the highest in the EU for eight months running.
