EU support widens for Estonia eurozone bid

TALLINN - Estonia has received the support of yet another key EU institution for its ambitions to join the eurozone at the beginning of next year.

The European Parliament Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee Thursday formally endorsed Estonia's bid to adopt the EU's single currency - three weeks after the European Commission threw its support behind the country.
