Prominent missing lawyer's car found

RIGA - The car used by Ainars Platacis, a prominent Latvian lawyer who has been declared missing, was found in one of Riga's suburbs, LETA reported.

The black "Mercedes-Benz 500" automobile was found abandoned yesterday near a bus stop in the Riga area of Mucenieki, the news agency reported.

Police have requested that anyone who might have information as to the lawyers whereabouts call 112.
