VILNIUS -- Parliamentarian Arunas Valinskas, one of the leading members of the Rising Nation Party, has called President Dalia Grybauskaite an "old hag" after the president said he was not qualified to work as the culture minister.
Valinskas has had his sights set on the position since the resignation of outgoing culture minister and fellow Rising Nation member Remigijus Vilkaitis.
Valinskas said he would not accept the word of the president on the matter and that he would wait until he is formally denied the position.
