Baltic leaders attend Kaczyński funeral

WARSAW - Top leaders from the three Baltic states have travelled to Poland by car in order to attend the funeral of Polish President Lech Kaczyński.

Kaczyński was killed in a plane crash while returning from a state meeting in Russia on April 10.

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė, Latvian President Valdis Zatlers and Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip attended the ceremony. Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves was unable to attend because he was stranded in Istanbul by the ash cloud.
