VILNIUS - The Lithuanian government has set up a new agency aimed at boosting innovation in the country.
The agency will be known as the "Mokslo, inovacijų ir technologijų agentūra," or the Science, Innovation and Technology Agency. It was created by the Economy and Education ministries working in tandem.
Lithuania is currently ranked as one of the worst countries in the EU in terms of innovation adn entrepreneurship.
