Gunmen open fire on Latvian businessman

JURMALA - Latvian businessman Sergejs Ratnikovs has filed a report with police claiming that gunmen fired on him outside his home on Friday.

Ratnikovs is the former director of the air cargo and aircraft maintenance company Concors.

National news agency LETA reported that gunmen opened fire as the businessman got out of his Land Rover near his home, and the the shots broke the rear windshield of the car. Ratnikovs was able to escape into his home uninjured.
