Estonia wins first Baltic medal at 2010 Olympics

VANCOUVER - Estonian cross-country skier Kristina Smigun-Vahihas won the first medal of the Baltic States at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canda.

Smigun-Vahi took silver in the 15 kilometer freestyle cross-country ski event.

Smigun-Vahiwon two gold medals at the previous Winter Olypic Games, which were held in Turin in 2006.
