Estonian, Latvian prices fall at year-end

TALLINN - A recent Reuters survey has found that consumer prices fell at the end of the year in Estonia and Latvia. Lithuania, meanwhile, saw a slight increase in prices year-on-year.

Estonia is expected to have seen the largest decline in December at about 2 percent, while Latvia's rate is expected to be about 1.2 percent.

Lithuania saw a price increase of 1.4 percent year-on-year in December, offset by a 0.2 percent month-on-month decrease, the news agency reported.
