RIGA - The headquarters of Neatkariga Avize, one of the largest daily publications in the country, has been vandalized and robbed.
Editor in Chief Anita Daukstetold national news agency LETA that the paper may have sustained several thousand lats worth of damage. She said the scope of the destruction at the paper made it unlikely that robbery was the only motive.
Police have opened an investigation into the theft.
