Tragedy strikes former US Ambassador

LOUISVILLE, KY., US -- Two children have died in a fire at the home of former US ambassador to Latvia Catherine Todd-Bailey.

Local officials reported that the two children - grandchildren of the former ambassador - were aged 10 and 12. Bailey and her husband were also injured in the blaze.

Bailey was US Ambassador to Latvia between 2005 and 2007.
