Three arrested for assassinations

RIGA - Three men have been arrested in connection with a number of high-profile contract killings that took place in 2007 and 2008.

Two Lithuanian men and one Latvian man are accussed of taking part in the murders of Latvian businessmen Genadijs Peredelskis, Gatis Aispurs and Aigars Lusis, LETA reported.

All three men were shot to death on the street between February 2007 and February 2008.
