VILNIUS - The first major virus for the iphone, known as "Duh", reportedly hacks into the phones by routing through a router in Lithuania.

Though it is officially the second virus that has been developed for the device, it is the first one that has a malicious intent.

The virus affects only "jailbroken" phones - those that have been modified to use applications not approved by apple - and has so far been restricted to the Netherlands.

The virus reportedly scans the phone for personal information, which is then sent to a server in Lithuania.
