Dinaburg to be investigated for match fixing

DAUGAVPILS - Latvian soccer team Daugavpils Dinaburg is being investigated for match fixing by the EUFA as part of a widespread investigation into the practice, which is now believed to have been widespread.

Teams from Albania, Slovenia and Hungary are also being investigated as part of the probe.

The club's president Oleg Gavrilov and head coach Tamaz Pertiya have both been disqualified from Latvian football for life, Latvian news agency LETA reported.
