TALLINN - The Estonian branch of Double Coffee, one of the Baltic's most successful restaurant chains, has declared bankruptcy.
Double Coffee had expanded agressively during the high-growth years that followed the Baltic states' joining the EU, but has seen business slow to a crawl since the onset of the financial crisis.
The company was declared bankrupt on Nov. 17 after facing a negative balance of 6 million kroons last year.
