New steelmill planned in Lithuania

VILNIUS - Gintautas Ramanauskas, TESO Engineering representative in the Baltic countries, has announced plans to construct a new steel production facility in Lithuania.

The project, which will draw approximately 30 million euros in investment, by the financial group Taurus Capital, Russian company TESO Engineering and Luxembourg registered SSP Company Limited.

SteelOrbis reported that construction on the mill is planned to begin in mid-2010.
