The government suggests to call the ambassadors away

VILNIUS - Lithuanian government is going torecommend the president to call the Lithuanian ambassadors in Norway, CzechRepublic and Ukraine away.According to the project prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs thediplomats, who represented Lithuaniain these countries for three years, should be recalled.

The Lithuanianambassador to Norway Alfonsas Eidintas and the ambassador to Ukraine AlgirdasKumzha are planned to be recalled on Dec. 24, when the ambassador to CzechRepublic Osvaldas Ciuksys 's on Nov. 19.

Still, by the law,the government can only suggest, but the final decision is made by the president.
