The government suggests to call the ambassadors away

VILNIUS - Lithuanian government is going to recommend the president to call the Lithuanian ambassadors in Norway, CzechRepublic and Ukraine away. According to the project prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the diplomats, who represented Lithuania in these countries for three years, should be recalled.

The Lithuanian ambassador to Norway Alfonsas Eidintas and the ambassador to Ukraine Algirdas Kumzha are planned to be recalled on Dec. 24, when the ambassador to Czech Republic Osvaldas Ciuksys 's on Nov. 19.

Still, by the law, the government can only suggest, but the final decision is made by the president.
