As suggested by Soros, the compulsion to lower the directional expanses is a wrong step, which needs to be fixed. He thinks that the countries of the European Union, which have found themselves in a better situation, could be more involved in helping Latvia.
A billionaire was also puzzled by creditors making such high demands. In his opinion, a more accommodating attitude could help Latvia in such harsh times to revive the economy.
Along with that, Soros has pointed out the fact that he has no financial interests in this particular region.
