High value FDI requested

VILNIUS - For 2009, the statistics on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Lithuania are not extremely bright. However, there are some significant signs of hope - Lithuania has the highest percentage of students in higher education in the European Union, according to Eurostat, and the investors seem to realize this valuable asset. British bank Barclays becomes a pearl in the FDI crown for Lithuania.
