Construction companies surviving tough times

TALLINN - According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2009, compared to the same period of the previous year, the total production of Estonian construction enterprises decreased about a third. This total was about 5 billion kroons (320 million euros), which comprised building construction with a value of 3.2 billion kroons and civil engineering work totaling 1.8 billion kroons.
