RIGA - Environmental sustainability in Latvia has been developing over the past few years, first gaining recognition with the first Baltic Ecolabel "Flower" award. The Ecolabel was first developed 10 years ago and has since become a European-wide symbol, allowing customers to recognize a product or service which complies with the strictest ecological and performance criteria. In 2007, Latvia received two Ecolabel "Flower" awards 's "Jaun-Ievinas" guesthouse and farm in Raunas, and "Usmas Kempings," which was financed by the EU with equipment funded by the European Regional Support Fund ...
