VILNIUS- Lithuanian PresidentValdas Adamkus has been hospitalized. Doctors report that there has been amalfunction of the president's cardio-stimulator.
His personal doctor, RemigijusNargel said that as a result of the malfunction, "I decided to immediately sendthe President for examination." Nargel reports that the President is feelingwell.
Adamkus will holdpresidential office until July, at which time Dalia Grybauskaite, President-elect,will take over the office.
