VILNIUS- Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus has been hospitalized. Doctors report that there has been a malfunction of the president's cardio-stimulator.
His personal doctor, Remigijus Nargel said that as a result of the malfunction, "I decided to immediately send the President for examination." Nargel reports that the President is feeling well.
Adamkus will hold presidential office until July, at which time Dalia Grybauskaite, President-elect, will take over the office.
