Lietuvos Energija, a subsidiary of the national Lithuanian energy investment company LEO LT, has signed an agreement with the Norway-based Nord Pool Consulting. The agreement, signed on May 5, will see the Norwegian company advise Lithuania on the expansion of the electricity market. "The current administration of the electricity market will be reformed according to the principles of the most advanced Northern European market to prepare for changes after the decommissioning of the Ignalina nuclear power plant," said Darius Masionis, the Chairman of the Board and the CEO of Lietuvos Energija.
