The ministry hopes to sell the building, but their optimism
may be too much. The current real estate market is slowing down.
The Interior Ministry reports that some real estate companies have valued the building at 1.2 million lats, others at 4 million.
Murniece said she viewed both those prices as the lower end of the scale.
