Eurovision winner to sing in Russian

RIGA- The winner of Latvia'sEurovision song contest, Intars Busulis, has announced he will be singingRussian when performing in Moscow, reported Latvian daily Neatkariga Rita newspaper.

 "I read comments on the Internet, and thereare different opinions on whether I should sing in Latvian or Russian,"said the singer, whose song, "Sastregums" or (Traffic) was originally inLatvian.

"But I am not a cosmopolite;I am a real Latvian patriot. The main thing is that I know what is inside mysoul," he said.

Busulis won amongst harsh competitionat the national final for the Eurovision song contest.

Out of the ten final songs,the jury and the audience selected three songs for the final. Busulis' songSastregums (Congestion) won the competition with 21,027 votes.

The Eurovision song contestwill be held on May 12-16 in Moscow.
