2 million Litas in Seimas damage

VILNIUS- In addition to the 15 injured during the Jan. 16 riots in Lithuania, 82 persons were detained by police, many of them armed.

Police reportedly found crowbars, Molotov cocktails and knifes among those detained.

 The police had used tear gas to control the crowds as well as rubber bullets, causing some of the days injuries.

 The damage done to the Seimas parliament building is an estimated 2 million Litas ( approx. 580,000 euro)
