No trucks crossing border

RIGA- As a hectic year for border patrols comes to a close, the morning of Dec. 30 found almost no trucks waiting to cross the border from Latvia.

Just 5 days ago, the State Border Guard reported that 450 trucks were waiting in line to cross at the Terehova border and 190 at Grebneva.

This in contrast to Dec. 24, when over 800 trucks were waiting to cross at Terehova.

The record line up was August 2007 when 1,700 trucks were lined up at the Terehova crossing
