Bronze for Latvian weightlifter

BEIJING- World champion Latvian parliamentarian Viktors Scerbatihs took home the bronze medal with combinedweight of 448kg in men's +105kg weightlifting.   

Russia's JevgenyChigishev came in second by a kilogram.

Germany's Matthias Steiner lifted his way to the gold with a total weight of461kg.

Steiner was in third after lifting 203kg in the snatch but shot to the top inhis final  clean and jerk lift at 258kg.
