RIGA 's Cheese maker and French national Lucien Heribert pled guilty to the seduction of several minor girls in regional court.
The press center of the Prosecutor's Office reported that the suspect pleaded guilty and the case was sent to court according to the settlement procedure.
The terms of the settlement as well as the type of punishment are not being disclosed yet.
Four girls were admitted as the victims on the case. Two of them were below the age of 14 at the time of the commission of the crime.
Heribert was charged with seduction of minor girls. The maximum punishment for this offence is six years in jail.
The materials of the case, including the number of incidents, have yet to be revealed , but according to the information published by the media, last December a video shot with a mobile phone was placed on the Internet with Heribert's bedroom and a naked 14-year old local girl in it. The material was allegedly filmed by another underaged girl.
The material was noticed by teachers who reported to the police.
The Frenchman allegedly paid money to the girls.
Heribert said that he has not done anything illegal, but he did not deny that the girl, who was helping him in the cheese plant, was naked in his bedroom as she wanted to take a bath. He also claims that the girls had stolen about a couple of hundreds of lats from him.
Later Heribert decided to sell his cheese plant Francu Gaume, explaining that people's purchasing capacity has dropped, and he is old and wants to take a rest.
