Police are still investigating the motive for the murder.

RIGA - A 22 year old Latvian man, Ritvars Kozans, was found murdered on May 30 near his apartment in Northampton  in the U.K.
The body was discovered in a garbage storage area, after Kozans had spent a night of visiting pubs and clubs around Northhampton. Police conducted a door-to-door questioning to determine if anyone had witnessed the murder.

At first, it looked as though his death would be unexplained, but Northants police say his death is unlikely to be the result of natural causes, as he had internal brain bleeding.  An investigation is underway. Police are appealing for any information regarding the murder. Police have blocked off the area around Kozans apartment.

Kozans car was found and a full forensic investigation is underway to determine if the car played a role in the murder.

An incident room has been set up and this death is being treated as a major investigation.
Two 19 year old women and two men, ages 40 and 20 were arrested and bailed in connection with the murder. Whether court proceedings will be launched or not depends on further inquiries.
Known to his friends as easy-going and hard-working, Kozans will be sorely missed by friends who have posted tributes and touching sentiments on his Draugiem.lv page.

Detective Chief Inspector Jan Meagher is leading the investigation and has found much of the community to be cooperating and helpful.
A  female neighbor was quoted as saying "the flats are new so nothing really major has ever happened here. For the first thing to turn out to be a murder is shocking."
Kozans family is expected to come to England for the funeral. Kozans had been working for over two years as an electrician in Northampton and had a long-term partner there.
