Today foreign artists are more and more interested in the Lithuanian music market. Both artists from neighboring states as well as from far away countries seek fans among the Lithuanian public. The three new foreign stars Diane Meyo, Sonia and Veronika Gordijevskaja shine bright on the Lithuanian stage.

Diane Meyo is an artist from Cameroon who accidentally landed in Lithuania. She might be called a new Tracy Chapman whose strong voice is perfect for the songs of the diva. However, Diane Meyo is ready for experiments singing soul, R&B, reggae. Soon enough the audience will hear the black artist singing Lithuanian! "I rehearse a lot now and I have a full program with a guitar; however, I also want to sing in Lithuanian. I have already tried that and it sound wonderful," says Diane Meyo.

Sonia, a singer from Moscow, Russia radiating sexuality, is trying to seduce Lithuanian audience not only with her voice but also with her beauty. Her new style R&B fits Sonia's character well and she has almost finished recording her first album in English and Lithuanian. The stylish singer has been living in Lithuania for more than a year and has already gained popularity. With her songs being produced by famous producers in Western Europe it is not difficult to compel the audience. "A singer must reach for the highest goals, not to restrict oneself to Lithuania, but strive to be popular all over the world," says Sonia. Her nearest plans are to spread her magic through all the Baltic States.

Veronika Gordijevskaja, a singer from Minsk, Byelorussia, tries to conquer the Lithuanian audience. Even though still studying in Minsk, Veronika is often visiting Lithuania and boldly trying to step onto the music stage. Her songs can often be heard on the radio in Minsk and her audience often compares her to the famous singer Alsu. However Veronika wants to stay unique and tries to create an original subtle style. Veronika has already made her first appearance on stage in Vilnius and hopes to add new colors to the musical life in Lithuania with her future concerts. "I do everything so that I would attract the interest of the public and make it wonder," says Veronika Gordijevskaja.
