TALLINN- The fifth basketball tournament of the
diplomats of the three Baltic States and Finland took place this week, with Lithuania taking second place. According to a press release by the foreign affairs ministry, the
basketball players from the Lithuanian Ministry won
a 73:35 victory at the semi-final against the Finnish team, and in
final match they played against the Estonian team, who had just won a victory
against the Latvian team. After an intensive match resulting in a
playoff, the Estonian basketball players won 65:59.
