TALLINN - The Estonian art market is the healthiest in the Baltics, thanks largely to a regular series of auctions that have kept art prices high and made paintings a good financial investment.The growing strength of auction sales was demonstrated on Sept. 27 when a record sale was set at the Haus Gallery auction in Tallinn (see story Page 1).The sale coincided with the 10th anniversary auction at Haus Gallery.General auctions take place at least twice a year, and special interest auctions are also occasionally scheduled.The market has been described as aesthetically "conserva...
