The games were qualifying matches for the European Football championships 2008.

Estonia, who has failed to score a goal in all seven qualifyer matches they played, lost to England 3 - 0 on Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, Lithuania payed against the defending champions Italy, losing that match 0 - 2. Lithuania had tied Italy in their previous match 1 - 1.
