Tiesto, one of the world's most famous trance DJs, is playing Tallinn's Saku Arena as part of his 2007 - 2008 world tour. Anyone who doubts how special this event is should know that the Dutch DJ was voted "Best DJ in the World" three times in a row by DJ magazine. Doors open at 8 p.m., and Tiesto is scheduled to come on at 1 a.m. Warm-up by DJ Meri, Kolzar, Kristjan Hirmo and Deejay Aav. Tickets cost 495 kroons pre-sale or 600 kroons at the door.

Another pack of hard-rock dinosaurs will funk up Riga with their presence next week. The once-very-famous Nazareth will play on Ogre open-air stage, Latvia's center of summer music events, on June 8. Prepare for hits like "Broken Down Angel," "Bad, Bad Boy," and the immortal ballad "Love Hurts" with the original band's lead singer Dan McCafferty and bass-guitarist Pete Agnew.

Film buffs take note: Vilnius Film Shorts, a European student short film festival, is headed to the Skalvija Cinema Centre, the only exhibitor of non - commercial film in Vilnius. Students from all over Europe will get the chance to present their best works from the past three years, films that show their points of view. About 60 films from 13 European countries are participating this year.
