Tallinn's famed Old Town Days festival turns the city medieval for a week, opening the door for all sorts of medieval-related tomfoolery. Expect to see re-enacted jousts, elaborate markets, musicians, acrobats and other entertainment as the spirit of the event finds its way into just about every nook and cranny of Old Town.

Big trucks with big wheels, driving over things. What could be more fun? On May 31 the Bikernieki Sports Complex will host the Kuusakoski Monster Mania 2007 event, during which the six best European Monster Truck competition and freestyle moto-cross shows will be held. Because the competition is part of the European championships, drivers will be trying their hardest to show off their monster-trucking skills.

How's your belly looking lately? We ask because Vilnius is about to host its third annual International Oriental Dance Festival, Vilnius Orientalis 2007. Think Turkey, think Middle-East. The event involves dance workshops for all levels, beginners included, an oriental bazaar and dance party, a gala show and a contest. The festival takes place in Club New York, Kalvariju street 85.
